Stunningly Accurate Spy x Family Cosplayers Faithfully Replicate Anime Imagery

Three cosplayers recreated posters from the show, and recreate the posters in 1:1 ratio.

A group of Spy Familycosplayers are re-creating the characters from the show in a single waku waku photo shoot.

The cosplayers @/linnng_cos and @/nc_ and @/helene.tw The three cosplayers, all posted by @/linnnng_cos, portrayed the Forger Family, offering viewers a glimpse of what live-action anime adaptations could appear. @/linnng_cos portrayed Yor as did @/nc__tw, who played Twilight, and @/helene.tw was Anya. They also edited the Anya cosplayer so that she matched the size measurements in the poster. Cosplayers recorded every single detail, including their clothes hung in mid-air.

@/linnnng_cos was cosplayed by Yor as her Thorn Princess form, however, she also dressed casually in an adorable pink headband and an red dress. In addition to Spy x Family, @/linnnng_cos has also cosplayed as adorable and extravagant Marin Kitagawa from My Dress-Up Darling. Their Instagram page has a picture of Sakura Kinomoto, from the popular magical girls series Cardcaptor Sakura.

@/nc__tw has cosplayed Twilight and, in the same way, displayed Twilight’s dual nature by wearing a Loid sweater in beige, with the white collar peeking out in a different picture. Yor was also cosplayed with a red background. In the most recent episode, @/nc__tw was Lucy from the critically-acclaimed Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. @/helene.tw showcased their cute side in their cosplay as Anya, but it appears they usually opt for more mature cosplays.

Spy x Family was created by Tatsuya Endeo, was launched on Shonen Jump+ March 2019. The show tells the story of an odd family that consists of a spy pretending to be a father for the sake of world peace, an assassin pretending to be a city worker and the telepath of four years old pretending to be an ordinary six-year-old, Spy x Familyquickly captured readers’ hearts across the world. Every character has their individual reasons for continuing with the farce. But, all want to belong in a family and know that their love is unconditional. In April 2022, Wit Studio and CloverWorks worked together to produce an adaptation of the anime that ran for two split cours. The series was already in circulation for over 2 million copies before the show’s premiere. Spy x Family had sold 15 million copies by the time it aired. By the end of December 2022 the manga has sold over 29 million copies.

Season 1 of Spyx Familyis now available on Crunchyroll. The second season will be released in 2023. Endo will oversee the film.
