A creative Chainsaw Man fan has constructed an impressive cosplay of the holder of Ghost Devil Contract.
Created and uploaded on Reddit by cosplayer Kerocchi, the costume features Himeno’s stylish black suit and distinctive eyepiece. The low angle of the photo and the cigarette that is swung between two fingers emit an appearance of swagger and coolness.

Chainsaw Man Fans’ Impressive Cosplay
Himeno isn’t the only fan-favorite Chainsaw Man character who has created some impressive cosplay lately. Another costume designer shared an exact manga rendition of Reze that highlights the Bomb Girl’s intense green eye. Grayson Finn, a cosplay legend, shared his interpretations of Kishibe the captain of Tokyo Special Division 4 in different ways. One depicts Kishibe smoking a cigarette and another shows him holding an amputation knife. Both feature Kishibe’s prominent facial scar.
The Chainsaw Man manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto first appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018 before moving to Shonen Jump+ in 2020 which will continue its serialization. The story centers around Denji who is a very vulnerable young man who is forced to pay off an enormous debt by taking on deadly and dangerous tasks. Denji is hired by a shady government agency following his gangster boss’s betrayal. Denji, as part of the Public Safety Division, works with other Devil Hunters such as Himeno. He uses his special ability to transform his legs into chainsaws, to hunt down monsters.

Chainsaw Man Tops NYT bestsellers list
Although Chainsaw Man was only released just a few years ago it’s already among the most popular manga of all time. The series has sold over 23,000,000 copies worldwide. The series has also appeared in the NYT Bestsellers List multiple times and won the Best Manga Category at the Harvey Awards both in 2021 and 2022.
Chainsaw Man’s adaptation of the anime by studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen) was first aired in its initial season from October through December 2022. The series stars Kikunosuke Asaya in the role of Denji, Mariya Ise as Himeno (Fairy Tail), Shogo Sakata as Aki (Fire Force), Tomori Kusunoki as Makima (The Misfits at Demon King Academy), and Fairouz Ali in Power (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is a tough one for mobs). As of the writing time, it is unclear if the Chainsaw Man anime will receive another season because the home video release has been very disappointing.
