Unconventional Fusion: Genderbent God of War Cosplay Blends Ragnarök with Breaking Bad Elements

A cosplayer has introduced their gender-bent version of God of War’s Kratos to Reddit with the Leviathan Axe and the head of Walter White-turned-Mimir.

Kratos may have some competition before God of War Ragnarok‘s release after a cosplayer put their spin on the god of war.

Reddit user u/BootlegMoon posted their version of the Ghost of Sparta as a female version in all its fierce splendor. The costume is a recreation of the Leviathan Axe. It also features armor and fur clothes, Kratos’ red tattoos, and the shoulders and head of Mimir. BootlegMoon was adamant about the prop which had been cut up. He said that Mimir’s head was originally an original Walter White mask. It was then put on, stuffed, and painted lightly to achieve the desired look. BootlegMoon commented that Mimir was the most enjoyable component of the costume to make.

Kratos is the main antagonist in the God of War franchise. Starting as a devoted soldier from Sparta He was later made the Greek god Ares’ champion in exchange for turning the tide of the battle. Ares was known to use Kratos to his advantage, before taking his family’s life in a fit of rage. This was his revenge act against the gods which earned him the title Ghost of Sparta.

The legend was that Kratos’ story ended after God of War 3. After he beat his father, Zeus, to a pulp, and then brutally massacred the rest of the Greek pantheon The Spartan sacrificed himself to give mankind the power of optimism which had been sealed by Pandora’s Box and later Kratos. His fate was left unknown until the God of War soft reboot in 2018.
