Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth celebrate a young fan who recreates Captain America’s most memorable Avengers: Endgame moment.
Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth recently applauded a fan’s cute Marvel Cinematic Universe-inspired cosplay.

Evans and Hemsworth as the MCU versions of Captain America and Thor, respectively, lauded the costume on Twitter. Hemsworth started the ball rolling with a retweet of a picture of a young MCU fan dressed as Cap and carrying a model of Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir to mark World Down Syndrome Day. Evans was also approached by an Aussie actor, who asked if Evans thought that the young fan (like his idol), was capable of the power of Mjolnir. Evans responded enthusiastically, describing the cosplayer as “100%” worth his weight and praising the ease at which he carried Mjolnir.

Captain America’s ability to use Mjolnir is one of the most significant revelations in Avengers: Endgame, which was also Evan’s MCU swansong. Evans has since stated that he has no plans to return to the shared universe as he’s worried this would undermine his original stint as Steve Rogers. In a recent interview, Evans said that he regrets being Captain America. He described it as an enjoyable experience. “You are paid to care for yourself and to be a superhero,” he said. That’s what you dreamed of] doing as a child.”
Chris Hemsworth Talks Thor 5
Hemsworth opted not to follow Evans into MCU retirement following Avengers: Endgame in which he played Thor, the God of Thunder for the second time in 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition, an on-screen announcement at the end of the film announced that Hemsworth will reprise his role in other, forthcoming MCU projects. This caught him off-guard. Hemsworth made it clear that he was willing to return to the role for a fifth Thor installment provided it did not follow the same pattern as its predecessors. “I’ve previously said this, but when it becomes too familiar, I’m worried it’s possible to become lazy then because I know the way I’m going,” he said.

It’s currently unclear what kind of story Thor 5 would tell if Marvel Studios moves forward with the sequel. Thor: Love and Thunder’s mid-credits scene promises a battle between Thor and Brett Goldstein’s Hercules However, this battle (if it happens) might be revealed in another MCU film or television show. Goldstein spoke about how the fight between Thor and Hercules could go down in a recent interview, joking that his character could make use of heroin to beat Odinson.
